Adept HSG Support Cammell Laird in building of RRS Sir David Attenborough

Adept HSG are proud to have supported Cammell Laird during the building program of the state-of-the-art Polar Exploration Vessel RRS Sir David Attenborough.

Designed and built to operate in some of the most hostile environments on the Planet with state-of-the-art survey equipment.

Due to the sensitivity of underwater equipment used in the vessel’s operational role, Vibration and Acoustic suppression throughout the vessel was a stringent requirement,

Adept Insulated ‘U’ Bolts have been installed on all Machinery Space Pipe runs therefore reducing noise and vibration pollution entering the Marine Environment.

As a result, this enhances the performance of the vessel’s survey equipment but more importantly reduces stress to marine wildlife.
